* Sculpture * Why C-1? C-1 wool is a perfect base to use alone or in mixtures for
felts that must be durable, non-pilling and still look great with long-term
wear and heavy use. C-1 is a blend of three Norwegian breeds with high
luster, white fleece with medium fibers.
It felts similarly to Corriedale wool. Colors We offer a solid 35-color palette, but strongly
encourage you to alternate color layers during layout of your felt
project. Beautiful multi-toned and
complex colors are naturally created during the felting process, which gives
your designs sophistication and depth.

The C-1/Pelsull Line A fabulous 50/50 blend of the
C-1 wool + dark colored Pelsull * Hatmaking *
Totes and Handbags * Coats and Jackets * Fast-felting Pelsull is an extremely-fast felting wool that is softer
than C-1. Together, they create a nice
combination of durable felt that takes less time to make. Heathered Colors Pelsull fibers are medium to black in color and this is
what gives the batts their gorgeous heathering. People often choose these batts for their
color, but be aware that there is a compositional difference. Pelsull is longer-stapled than C-1, so your
felt will be harrier with this blend.
You can shave the surface of the felt if this is undesirable. This blend is often used by felt hatmakers. What is
