Undyed Norwegian C-1 Batts
Large, clean, all-purpose batts made of the finest blend of Norwegian wools. Although largely still unknown in the U.S. this wool is fast becoming the top choice for needle felters due to its clean preparation and shorter length of fiber which results in less poking. Use it in wet felting to increase the durability of merino and other fine wool felts or felt it alone for a tight, water-repellent upholstery fabric with sheen and elasticity. As with all medium to coarse wools, expect it to shed water at first and take longer to felt than merino. Well worth the effort!
