Uncarbonized White Prefelt
Our Uncarbonized White Prefelt is made of 100% Merino. It dramatically reduces layout time and is great for outdoor and large scale projects. The vegetation bits are very small so you cannot feel them in the cloth. Fantastic when dyed as it gives a variation to the yardage from highly speckled/robin's egg to no speckles/solid.
Approx 150/grams per meter weight. This prefelt is 1 meter wide and sold in 1 meter and 10 meter lengths. The 10 meter length is priced at a 15% discount.
Prefelt Lite and Web
Our 100% Merino Prefelt is available in 2 weights: Lite & Web. These factory-needled sheets of short fiber merino wool felt very quickly and decrease layout time significantly. They are unavailable in U.S. mills and must be imported. No quantity discounts or wholesale purchases available. Assume 50% shrinkage rate.
Prefelt Lite is suitable for nuno and piece collage work. It weighs 100 grams per meter, measures 102 cm wide and is sold by the linear meter.
Prefelt Web is an economical prefelt that can be split into 1-4 layers. Use it to make coats, tops, dresses, skirts and pants, as well as smaller projects and embellishment. It weighs 140 grams per meter, measures 102 cm wide and is sold by the linear meter.
Our Prefelt Lite Collection includes a 22 cm x 100 cm sheet of each color in the Prefelt Lite line, and our Prefelt Web Collection contains a 22 cm x 22 cm sheet of each color in the Prefelt Web line.
